COLUMBIA, Mo. -- After a quick stop outside of conference play, the Missouri Tigers are ready for the final stretch of the Southeastern Conference schedule.

Missouri (16-5, 4-4 SEC) begins the final full month of the regular season when it hosts the LSU Tigers (12-9, 1-7) at 8 p.m. today at Mizzou Arena.

Missouri is coming off consecutive wins against Mississippi (89-77) on Jan. 24 and then-No. 12 Iowa State (78-61) on Saturday, making 14 or more 3-pointers in both to mark the first time Missouri has made that many 3s in consecutive games since the 1999-2000 season.

Missouri’s win against Iowa State marked the Tigers’ 12th non-conference win of the season, their most since the 2013-14 season.

Senior forward Kobe Brown leads Missouri with 16 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per contest, which has set him on the National Player of the Year watch list.

Graduate guard D’Moi Hodge is second on Missouri with 14.6 points per game, after averaging 20.5 the past two games and hitting 11-of-21 3s. Senior guard Isiaih Mosley has fully entered the lineup the past four games, averaging 13.8 points on 45.8 percent shooting.

After winning 12 of its first 13 games, LSU has lost eight consecutive coming in, most recently dropping a 76-68 decision to Texas Tech during the SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Saturday.

Senior forward KJ Williams (6-foot-10) leads LSU with 17.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, while sophomore guard Adam Miller (6-3) is second with 12.1 points.

LSU is averaging 66.6 points per game on offense and allows 67.6, while Missouri scores 83.1 points per game -- the eighth highest-scoring offense in the country -- and gives up 75.3 points per contest.

LSU leads the all-time series 11-2 and has won the past eight games in the series dating to 2016, including a 76-69 win in the second round of the SEC Tournament last season, the most recent matchup between the programs.
