Son of Walsworth president joins company

Walsworth announced Thursday that another Walsworth will join the family business.

Tripp Walsworth will be the newest member of the family to work for the company. Tripp is the son of Don Walsworth, president of the company. He is also the grandson of CEO Don Walsworth.

Tripp will officially start with Walsworth on Aug. 21, according to a news release.

"I can't wait to get going at Walsworth," Tripp said in a release. "I want to continue the legacy started by my great grandfather and continued by my grandfather and father."

He graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in finance in 2020.

Most recently he served as a senior account manager with Lockton, the "world's largest independent insurance brokerage," according to Lockton's website.

During Tripp's three years with Lockton, he became AINS- and CRIS-certified.

"My father and I are thrilled that Tripp has decided to come to Walsworth," Don said in a release.

Tripp will travel to all of Walsworth's facilities to learn more about the business and the process at each facility.

The administrative offices and book printing and binding facilities for Walsworth are located in Marceline. Other facilities are located in Fulton; Brookfield; Overland Park, Kansas; Saint Joseph, Michigan; and Ripon, Wisconsin.
