Walsworth is donating $2,500 to the Fulton school district, announced yesterday in a press release.
The company is currently celebrating their 85th anniversary and the company's commitment to literacy, the release said. A total of $15,000 is being donated to schools and literacy programs near the six Walsworth locations.
Kevin Werdehausen, the general manager for the Fulton Walsworth, will present the check to the Fulton school district on Oct. 4.
The five other districts receiving $2,500 include:
• Marceline R-V Schools in Marceline, MO
• Brookfield R-III School District in Brookfield, MO
• Lead to Read KC in the Kansas City Area
• Ripon Area School District in Ripon, WI
• Benton Harbor Area Schools in Benton Harbor, MI
