On Senior Night, South Callaway softball dropped a 12-2 decision to Fayette Monday evening in Mokane.
The Lady Bulldogs couldn't muster much offense, tallying just two hits on the night, courtesy of Haley White and Abbi Patrick.
"The Lady Falcons are a very solid team," South Callaway coach Rusty Creed said. "They didn't give us much tonight. We'll need to put together better offensive and defensive efforts if we're going to beat teams like this.
"Kesler (Finney) gave us a nice game on the mound, but she didn't get our best defensive effort behind her."
South Callaway (9-7) will return to the diamond to take on Eugene (9-8) in a Show-Me Conference showdown at 5 p.m. today in Eugene, Missouri.
