Fulton girls golf's Grace Ousley placed second in the North Central Missouri Conference Championships after carding an 8-over-par 79 Monday at Kirksville Country Club in Kirksville.

In the 18-hole tournament, Ousley recorded five pars and one birdie; she birdied the par-5 eighth hole.

That was also the one hole that Kirksville golfer Addy Davis birdied en route to winning the individual conference title with a 71. What set Davis apart from Ousley was her 10 pars.

As a team, Fulton finished third and posted a 133-over-par 415. The Hornets finished 16 strokes behind second-place Hannibal and 45 back of Kirksville who won the tournament.

Outside of Ousley, Carley Foster was Fulton's only other medalist; she finished tied for seventh and signed for a 96.

The Hornets' Malaysha Thompson and Regann Cunningham tied for 21st and shot a 117 and Taylor Gilmore finished 30th with a 130. Gilmore's score didn't count towards the team's score.

Next up, Fulton will tee off in the Fulton Quad at 4 p.m. today at Fulton Country Club in Fulton.
