Residential fire in Fulton

The Fulton Fire Department responded to a fire on Friday, Sept. 23.

The fire was a residential structure fire at the 1200 block of Kathy Street, and occurred at around 6 p.m. The occupants of the residence were outside when the fire department arrived, and they said the fire was in a bedroom in the basement.

The fire was quickly controlled, and no victims were located while searching the house. The residence sustained fire and smoke damages at an estimate of $60,000. The cause of the fire was found to be accidental, and was caused be an electrical source.
