William Woods volleyball falls to No. 5 Missouri Baptist

William Woods volleyball played reigning national champion, No. 5 Missouri Baptist Thursday in St. Louis for its second conference match.

The Owls fell in three sets (18-25, 13-25, 19-25).

Woods hit .474 in set two with 10 kills and just one error on 19 attempts.

Erin Treis assisted 16 of the Owls' kills, Tori Rosemann pulled up 10 MBU attacks, Lanie Lowry led the Owls with eight kills and Rhakala Blackmon blocked a match-high four MBU attacks.

William Woods (4-11, 1-1 American Midwest Conference) will return to the court to face Central Baptist (2-8, 0-0) at 6 p.m. Friday in Conway, Arkansas.
