William Woods University is preparing to launch a new initiative to increase online education opportunities.
This new initiative is called William Woods Global. According to a press release, this will grow the online offerings of the university and will expand the higher education opportunities available for working adults.
William Woods Global will use with current WWU curriculum that undergraduates use.
"William Woods Global will better support adult learners in our global economy, exposing them to our strong undergraduate degree options while increasing the chance that they use their knowledge to contribe to their local communities," WWU President Jeremy Moreland said in the press release.
The announcement of William Woods Global comes only one month into the fall semester. WWU saw a 40 percent increase in new student enrollment this year, making it the largest incoming class in five years.
