Fulton girls golf and Ousley place fourth in Kirksville Tournament

Fulton girls golf finished fourth in the Kirksville Tournament after shooting a 127-over-par 411.

The Hornets finished behind third-place Hannibal, second place Kirksville and winner Quincy Notre Dame. The Raiders won the tournament with a 349.

Two of Fulton's golfers -- Grace Ousley and Carly Foster -- were individual medalists. Ousley placed fourth after posting a 16-over-par 87, while Foster finished ninth with a 91.

Quincy Notre Dame's Hanna Knuffman won the individual title with a 74.

The Hornets' non-medalist scores were Maylasha Thompson with a 111 and Taylor Gilmore with a 122.

Fulton will tee off in the New Bloomfield Quad at 4 p.m. today at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club in New Bloomfield.
