North Callaway R-1 School District made improvements during this month's board of education meeting.
First, the school board adopted an updated head lice policy during their meeting.
Cory Bextermueller, project director at Navigate Building Solutions, presented a task order and the board voted to proceed with the task order for the High School and Middle School Roof Replacement/Restoration project.
Kevin O'Neal, activities director at North Callaway High School, presented the board with the idea of a Youth Football League storage container.
The school board voted to move forward with the Youth Football League purchasing a storage container to be placed on district property beside the track shed, pending insurance liability agreeable with the district's insurance provider and container being painted by the Youth Football League to match the track shed.
Adult Lunch Prices were also presented during the meeting.
The board approved the adult lunch price of $4.30 and the adult breakfast price of $2.90.
