New Bloomfield girls golf wins Blair Oaks Triangular, scores season-low

New Bloomfield girls golf competed in its last regular season match of the campaign and took first in the Blair Oaks Triangular with a season-low score of 208 Wednesday at Oak Hills Country Club in Jefferson City.

The team finished the season with a record of 18-7, which was the best record since Lady Wildcats coach Joseph Robinson took over the program.

New Bloomfield's Dixie Moss was the individual champion with a 45. Caeli Lawrence finished second on the team with a 53, Nataleigh White shot a 54, Logann Bryan a 55 and Kennedy Wisdom a 56.

"The entire team did a great job, and the JV shot their lowest score of the season with a 237," Robinson said.

Next up, New Bloomfield will tee off in the Class 1 District 2 Tournament Monday at LA Nickell Golf Course in Columbia.
