Fulton Mayor Lowe Cannell presented SERVE with a check last week for proceeds raised from the 11th Annual Mayor's Cup fundraiser.

Cannell picked SERVE to be the recipient of the proceeds this year. The mayor picks the local non-profit for the event every year.

SERVE Executive Director Courtney Harrison was given a check for $4,848.76, which was all rasied from the Mayor's Cup in August.

The funds will be used by SERVE to support their food pantry.

Harrison said she is very grateful for Cannell picking SERVE as the recipient of the tournament.

"This has truly come at such a critical time for us, and I couldn't possibly express how much of a difference it's going to make in our food pantry," Harrison said.

Harrison said SERVE's food pantry team called Moser's as soon as they received the checkto order groceries for the food pantry.
