T-bone collision injures two men in Callaway County


A collision on U.S. Highway 63 injured two men Monday morning.

Marc Ferrin, 57, of Hartsburg, attempted to cross the highway about 11:06 a.m. in a Chevrolet Impala at Callaway County Road 395 when he crossed into the path of Marcus Davis, 18, of Jefferson City.

Davis was northbound on Highway 63 in a Chevrolet Malibu, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol crash report.

The Malibu struck the driver's side of the Impala. Ferrin's Impala traveled off the road and ended up partially in the median. Davis's Malibu traveled off the road and struck a stop sign.

Both men were wearing seat belts.

Paramedics took Davis and Ferrin to University Hospital in Columbia. Davis was treated for moderate injuries, and Ferin was treated for serious injuries, according to the report.
