North Callaway boys basketball opened the campaign with a 65-42 loss against Centralia Tuesday night in Centralia.
Isiah Craighead led the Thunderbirds with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Sam Pezold was another North Callaway player that excelled, notching 10 points and three steals.
The Panthers' Cullen Bennett was a challenge for the Thunderbirds to stop. He finished the game with 14 points, seven rebounds and two steals.
North Callaway (0-1) hits the road again for its next game against Silex (2-0) at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Silex.
