Fulton man sentenced for recording minors

A Fulton man has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for secretly recording two teenagers.

Craig Glover, 52, pleaded guilty to attempting to produce child pornography in July, admitting to placing a hidden camera in the bedroom of one victim and the bathroom of a second. He was sentenced Wednesday in the Western District Court of Missouri.

A plea agreement shows the first victim found the device, which was designed to look like a phone charger, and followed the extension cord to find the camera attached with tape to a shelving unit in her room. The evidence was then taken to the Jefferson City Police Department.

The discovery was made days after Glover had been alone in their home, court documents state.

FBI analysis of the camera revealed footage of the minor in various states of undress, as well as a recording of Glover placing the camera. He admitted to placing the camera, saying it was the second time he had done so to the victim.

An examination of his cell phone found similar images of another minor in a bathroom, which the second victim said had been recorded at a birthday party Glover had attended.

The case was investigated by the JCPD and FBI, and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Ashley Turner.
