MOKANE, Mo. -- South Callaway School District is working on fixing the marquee sign in the front of the high school building.
Corey Pontius, superintendent at South Callaway School District, said the school board decided to explore options to fix the existing marquee.
The current sign is aging and needs significant repair.
Although the school board may be exploring options to fix the sign, it may not be a possibility due to its age, he said.
The school board approved to seek bids on a replacement last week during a board of education meeting.
According to the school board, from preliminary feedback it was better to upgrade the sign the high school currently has rather than try fixing the existing one.
