Callaway County public administrator selected for national board

Karen Digh Allen, public administrator for Callaway County, was recently chosen to serve as a board director for the National Guardianship Association.

Digh Allen received this honor during the National Conference on Guardianship, which took place in Dallas at the end of Oct. The mission of the NGA is to "advance the nationally recognized standard of excellence in guardianship," according to a press release.

Digh Allen has been the public administrator for Callaway County for over 25 years. She received National Certified Guardian status in 2005, received the National Certified Guardian Excellence Award in 2016 and the Fred Kretz Cornerstone Award in 2021, according to a press release. She was also selected as the Missouri Public Administrator of the Year in 2021.
