“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”

Those were the words of Fulton High School graduating senior Sierra Zurich, quoting Winnie the Pooh, during Friday’s graduation ceremony.

The district graduated around 140 students in the class of 2022.

Zurich said for her, the other students and memories at Fulton High School are hard to say goodbye to.

“I hope for all of us, these four years will be remembered and cherished for the good moments we’ve had,” she said.

Zurich said her piece of advice to her fellow graduates was that 11 minutes is too long to cook a Hot Pocket.

“I was given the advice that failure is never an option, it’s something you do if you suck,” she said. “So my advice is to never suck. When you set your mind to something, no matter how big or small, see it out until it is achieved.”
