Holts Summit is hosting its annual fireworks festival Friday at Greenway Park.
The festival is scheduled to begin with an opening ceremony, prayer and national anthem at 5 p.m. Fireworks will begin around dusk, which is at approximately 8:30 p.m. Other events, such as live music put on by The House Band, will take place 5-9 p.m.
Various vendors will be in attendance at the festival all night. Big Hungry Patty Wagon, Quitugua Food Services, Old Thyme Funnel Cake and D-Dees Kettle Korn will be selling food to visitors. A beer garden will also be available. Other vendors include Silvey's Soap and Carrie's Hallmark.
This event is family friendly; admission is free.
