The budget for the 2022-23 school year was approved during Thursday's New Bloomfield R-3 school district board of education meeting.
The budget was updated by including new hires at the district, superintendent Sarah Wisdom said.
Work has also started on the Elementary School gym floor, Wisdom said.
Electric work for the electric bleachers at the high school will begin and take about a week for installation.
The school board approved direct services for the term of three contract years from July 2022 to June 2025 at $70 per hour for the Special Learning Center for Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech/Language Therapy.
Wisdom added that the school year ended with zero cases of COVID-19.
