2 William Woods master programs recognized


Two William Woods University master's degrees were ranked in the top 50 schools in the country.

The website onlinemastersdegrees.org ranked the educational leadership degree as the top such degree program in Missouri and 45th best in the U.S., and the educational technology degree as the second best in Missouri and 29th best in the U.S.

"We established our online master's programs to provide a state-of-the-art, yet flexible and affordable academic program that meets the needs of professionals who continue to advance their careers," said Jeremy Moreland, president of William Woods University. "Relentless quality and also affordability have always been our priority, and we are gratified by this latest national recognition."

Criteria for the OnlineMastersDegree.org rankings included availability of programs with an online component, number of programs in subject area and metrics considering cost, as well as impact of institutional aid tuition.

Online master's degree programs have been a feature of the wide variety of academic degree programs offered at William Woods for more than 20 years.
