The Fulton City Council will consider two potential projects at Tanglewood Golf Course during its Tuesday meeting.

The two projects would include improvements to the well pump and the irrigation system.

According to board documents, the well pump is 25 years old and has multiple issues annually. An outside company inspected the pump and found a short circuit in it, which means it needs to be replaced.

City staff is recommending the city accept a $42,205 bid from Flynn Drilling to replace it, which is the lower of the two bids received.

The irrigation system will include the main pump station, software, computer monitors, station controls and a three-year service plan.

Council members will consider a bid from Turfwerks for $199,500 to replace the system.

According to board documents, the project would qualify for ARPA funding, of which the city is slated to receive $250,000 from the county.

The Council will also consider:

• A resolution authorizing city staff to renew a contract with the Department of Mental Health to provide trash removal services to Fulton State Hospital.

• An ordinance change establishing a new zoning code.

A representative from the Fulton Street Fair Committee will also request permission to host its annual event June 24-25 in downtown Fulton.
