The Fulton boys and girls split duals Monday at Jefferson City.
The Hornets lost their first one of the season 42-27 to the Jays while the Lady Hornets won 48-12.
Senior Rylee Baker, who finished fifth at state in the 117 class last season, won for the Lady Hornets, while sophomore Carly Foster also was victorious.
For the boys, individual winners included seniors Owen Uhls, Josh Dunmire and Jacob Barnes, sophomore Elijah Brocksmith, and freshmen Cole Blattner and Cameron Cumins.
Blattner, Cumins and Dunmire each won by fall.
Uhls won a 5-2 decision, while Barnes and Brocksmith each won by a 4-2 decision.
Up next for the Fulton boys and girls is a triangular at 6 p.m. Thursday at Fulton against North Callaway and South Callaway.
