HALLSVILLE - Sophomore shortstop DeLaney Horstman had three hits and drove in three runs as the Lady Bulldogs turned back the Lady Indians in Thursday night's non-conference victory.
Horstman finished 3-for-4 with a double and scored two runs as South Callaway (4-2) collected nine hits. Freshman second baseman Grace Pontius was 2-for-4 with a run scored.
Sophomore starter Kayleigh Torufa threw a complete game to earn the win for the Lady Bulldogs. Torufa allowed four runs - three earned - on 10 hits and struck out seven.
South Callaway edged Hallsville 6-5 in the junior varsity game.
The Lady Bulldogs played in the Owensville Tournament on Saturday. Results were not available at press time.
