Woman charged with stabbing

A Fulton woman was arrested last weekend following a suspected domestic assault, according to Fulton police.

Sandra Rae Wagner, 62, was arrested after a man arrived at a local hospital with multiple stab wounds about 1 a.m. Sunday.

Wagner was taken to the Callaway County Jail with pending charges of first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon. Wagner was awaiting a court-set bond.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported the following accidents in Callaway County:

Monday, 6 a.m. on Route AA at County Road 4005: A 2002 Honda Accord driven by Kirk R. Stafford, 26, of Holts Summit, went off the left side of the road, struck a tree and overturned. Stafford was tranported to University Hospital with serious injuries and the car was totalled. Troopers said he was not wearing a seat belt.

May 27, 10:05 a.m. on U.S. 54 westbound near Auxvasse Creek Bridge: A 2003 Harley Davidson driven by Lee J. Schmeling, 62, of Muskego, Wisconsin, went off the road, across a median and opposite lanes and struck a tree. Schmeling and his wife, Karen J. schmeling, 62, also of Muskego,  were transported to Univerity Hospital with moderate injuries, and the Harley was totalled.

Troopers also arrested Michael J. Watson, 28, of Illinois at 10:40 a.m. Sunday in Callaway County. He was charged with exceeding the posted speed limit, no valid operators license, and a felony warrant for a parole violation (possession of firearms) from Arkansas. He was taken to the Callaway County Jail.

Dylan E. Poulsen, 19, of Liberty, was arrested at 1:56 p.m. Saturday in Callaway County by troopers. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance (1.5 grams of cocaine), possession of suboxone opiod, possession of a controlled substance inside a county jail, and failure to register annually with the director of revenue. He was taken to the Callaway County Jail.
