HALLSVILLE, Mo. - Second baseman Rylee Caswell went 2-for-4 with a double and three runs batted in as the Fulton Lady Hornets toppled the Hallsville Lady Indians on Tuesday night.
Third baseman Alex Trowbridge was also 3-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI for FMS (6-2). Pitcher Kara Schoening picked up the victory, striking out four.
Winning pitcher Elexis Clark struck out 10 as the Lady Hornets' seventh- and eighth-grade combo team easily prevailed 13-5.
Catcher Brooklyn Talbot finished 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI for FMS (3-2) and third baseman Anna DeFily went 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBI.
The Lady Hornets host Moberly at 5 p.m. today.
