A variety of general highway maintenance and construction work is scheduled through April 29 in Callaway County.
Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.
• Route 94 between Route 63 and Bluffton Road in Montgomery County – Pavement repairs and shoulder widening began Monday. Pavement repairs will take place between Tebbetts and Portland this week. The entire project is scheduled for completion by fall.
• Route 94 between Route 63 and the Montgomery County line – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations began Monday and will run through Thursday. Intermittent road closures for up to 30 minutes are possible during the work. Motorists are advised to be prepared for delays through the work area.
• Route C between Route 94 and Business Route 54 – Roadway maintenance began Monday and will run through Thursday, April 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Route O over Auxvasse Creek, east of County Road 111 – Bridge maintenance began Monday and will run through Thursday, April 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Route O between Route C and Route D – Roadway maintenance began Monday and will run through Thursday, April 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Route Z between County Road 140 and Wood Street – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, April 25, through Thursday, April 28. The road will be closed in the work zone between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the area.
• Route CC between Route 94 and Route O – Roadway maintenance began Monday and will run through Thursday, April 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Route JJ between Route Z and the Interstate 70 South Outer Road – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Wednesday, April 27, and Thursday, April 28. The road will be closed in the work zone between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the area.
• Interstate 70 South Outer Road between Route 54 and Route J – Roadway maintenance began Monday and will run through Thursday, April 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
• Interstate 70 South Outer Road between Route 54 and Route J – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Wednesday, April 27, and Thursday, April 28. The road will be closed in the work zone between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the area.
