Sophomore Skylar Schmauch was victorious in the girls' 1,600 meters and freshman Levi Gilman triumphed in the boys' 110 hurdles at the Centralia 9th- and 10th-grade Invitational on Thursday.
Schmauch won the 1,600 in 6 minutes, 7.62 seconds and also took second in the 800 in 2:44.48. Gilman prevailed in the 110 hurdles in :17.34 and finished second in the 300 hurdles in :44.96.
Sophomore Erinn Bush also came in third for the North Callaway girls in the discus (92 feet, 7 inches), sophomore Patri Eckert placed third in the 200 (:29.96), and freshman Nichole Kelly took fifth in the high jump (4-0).
