Larry D. Threlkeld, 40, Auxvasse, is in Callaway County Jail after he was arrested Sunday by
Fulton Police as a chronic offender of driving while intoxicated.
At 9:01 a.m. Sunday, a Fulton Police officer spotted a vehicle traveling 100 m.p.h. in a 70 m.p.h. zone along U.S. 54 in Fulton.
Police stopped the vehicle and learned it was driven by Threlkeld, who was intoxicated.
A check of his driving status revealed Threlkeld's driver's license had been revoked and he had an outstanding court arrest warrant pending from Callaway County as a chronic driving-while-intoxicated offender.
Threlkeld was arrested on a new felony charge as a chronic DWI offender. He also was charged with driving while his driver's license was revoked, speeding 100 m.p.h., and the previously issued felony arrest warrant as a chronic DWI offender.
