Senior Jenny McCarty finished first of 114 runners at the 27th annual Fulton Invitational on Saturday. McCarty finished in a time of 19 minutes, 35.58 seconds to beat out 114 other varsity runners.Junior Angela Hinchie was the only other Lady Hornet in the varsity race, finishing in a 67th place time of 24:13.90 seconds. In the junior varsity race, freshman Rachel Quick finished 22nd in a time 25:32.44 seconds, sophomore Renee Dews' time of 28:14.02 was good for 43rd place and Katie Gibson came in 58th place with a time of 38:26.51 seconds.
