Two Auxvasse men were arrested on multiple charges after fleeing from Fulton Police during the weekend.
Police reported Thomas E. Schneider, 33, and Daniel D. Foreman, 24, both of Auxvasse, were arrested after a police chase through Fulton that ended on State Road F near Amerihost Drive, located just west of the State Road F and U.S. 54 intersection.
The incident began when Fulton Police received a report of a hit-and-run accident at 11:33 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of East 8th Street in Fulton.
Police reported a driver of a 1994 Pontiac sideswiped a parked 1992 Honda, causing heavy damage, and then left the scene of the accident.
Witnesses told police they saw the driver and passenger of the Pontiac switch seats and continue on without waiting for police to arrive.
