Callaway Fair goers not beat by heat

The Energy Doctor Sky Stream 3.7 fan sits across from the livestock areas at the Kingdom of Callaway County Fair sort of like a big tease. The structure has a 12-foot wide span and looks like an ideal coolant for fair patrons.

Unfortunately, since the thing is set up outside, that cool air won't happen.

"If there were anyway that thing could blow cool air, it'd be on," Jerry Bieberly, an Energy Doctor representative and the man sitting behind the fan, said.

Those who have made their way to the fair this week aren't so much surprised by the extremely warm August weather - it is the norm around here after all - but by just how consistently hot it has been.
