Wait why doesn't what whocares say make sense? Plants are living creatures, they have cells, they grow and reproduce just like all animals. They only move slowly and don't seem to communicate but we can't be sure that they don't communicate. Maybe someone should stand up for plants rights!

Shane says "I'm sure you're all familiar with the concept, as I know that the word appears in the 'holy' bible."

Not sure why you used quotations around the word holy here, maybe you were poking fun at christian beliefs? Either way Jesus ate fish, made several references to fishing, asked the disciples to cast their nets along side their boat where they caught loads of fish. So I'm thinking Jesus feels the same way that most hunters do. Animals are here FOR human beings, they should be harvested quickly with minimal suffering, and they should be treated dignity and respect.

I'm probably not going to change your mind so I'll give up at this point. So you may have the last snide remark

Just a "heads" up do NOT wear red in the woods. THe last I heard the conservation department advises against this color since turkey heads are red.

that's pretty awful to mock someone else's misfortunes, even if you didn't like it you don't have to make fun after it's gone. I've flagged this post for removal as it is offensive and unnecessary.

I COMPLETELY agree. The government can't fix anything. Think of all the times you interact with government policies. Is it helpful and easy or cumbersome and painful? When you file your tax return, when you apply for a passport, when you go to the DMV or title a vehicle (yes I'm aware those last two are state government not federal) My point is that government as a whole needs to be cut back and reduced because they simply can't seem to get things right.

running from the police is against the law. They weren't out for a sunday jog, the vehicle crashed and they left the scene of the accident when the police wanted to question them. had they stayed there and talked to the authorities they probably would not have been arrested. I know people in a similar situation that didn't leave the vehicle after the chase ended and were not arrested while the driver was.

How about nuclear power? it produces constant high yield baseload power and no greenhouse gases.

Does anyone know if this includes the fireworks at the country club? They have been watering the course so it shouldn't be dry there.
