jama, you've clearly never worked at a school before. There are so many helicopter parents and other issues to deal with not everyone has the time to stop what they're doing and deal with people like you. Pull you're kids out of the school if you want to and home school them. Maybe you can keep them in the greenhouse forever.

I don't think they should give out any information on the situation, how do they know when you call that you're a parent and not the perpetrator in question.

I haven't seen the map proposal however a previous article in the sun said this

"Known as the Callaway County Connector, the new roadway starts at a point about 100 feet north of the Route H intersection with U.S. 54 on the south side of Fulton. The new roadway will extend south of Fulton about one and one-half miles and then extend to the southeast to Hams Prairie."

After looking at your address and satellite photots on google maps it appears that it would not go very near your house since it is by the Route H intersection.

not every student plays sports, how about something for the fine arts like band, music, theater, etc? When is the last time they got a hefty bond issue for new facilities past? They are just as much represenatives of our community and school as the sports teams are.

There MUST be more to this story than we are hearing. I can't believe that anybody would get fired based on the fact that they reported this incident. I'm sure they're required to report these types of incidents anyway. There just HAS to be more to the story than this.

Wait why doesn't what whocares say make sense? Plants are living creatures, they have cells, they grow and reproduce just like all animals. They only move slowly and don't seem to communicate but we can't be sure that they don't communicate. Maybe someone should stand up for plants rights!

Shane says "I'm sure you're all familiar with the concept, as I know that the word appears in the 'holy' bible."

Not sure why you used quotations around the word holy here, maybe you were poking fun at christian beliefs? Either way Jesus ate fish, made several references to fishing, asked the disciples to cast their nets along side their boat where they caught loads of fish. So I'm thinking Jesus feels the same way that most hunters do. Animals are here FOR human beings, they should be harvested quickly with minimal suffering, and they should be treated dignity and respect.

I'm probably not going to change your mind so I'll give up at this point. So you may have the last snide remark
