Congratulations! I'll have to come and check your new store out. I was sad to hear Gidley's closed too. My parents bought a lot of my shoes there while i was growing up in Fulton. I always liked going to pick my shoes out there...fond memories.
I lived in an upstairs apartment in that house in about 1976-77 when I was in 3rd and 4th grade while my family built a home in the Gross Place subdivision. Seeing it brings back childhood memories. I'm glad someone is restoring the house. I'd love to see it!!
