Rick Lang, animal specialist with the Bureau of Lectures and Concerts, Inc., holds a black and white South American tegu so it can lick the cheek of Bartley Elementary student Michelle Blakely. Blakely volunteered herself for the demonstration unaware the tegu, named Black Friday, was going to give her a kiss during the "Amazing Animals Assembly" at Bartley Elementary on Thursday. Others animals showcased included Larry, the legless lizard; McNugget, the long-haired chinchilla; Tony, the sulcata tortoise; Julius Squeezer, the carpet python and Tasha, a seven-week-old wolf that is half artic wolf and half Canadian wolf.
