Ava Santhuff, 5, and Sarah Boycherding of Fulton block the wind from blowing out a candle Tuesday during a candlelight prayer vigil for Ava Santhuff’s twin brother, “Super” Sam Santhuff who is battling to — as he has said — “kick cancer’s butt.” About 100 people attended to “light up Court Street” and pray for the young boy and his family, especially his sister who has remained a major source of strength for him. He is being treated at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. Anyone interested in supporting “Super” Sam can go to the Facebook page, “SuperSam’s Heroes.”
