Kelly Nickelson, physical therapist with Atlas Physical Therapy in Fulton, stretches five-year-old Sam Santhuff's legs at the end of a session on Thursday. Santhuff was diagnosed with cancer which has caused neuropathy in his hands and feet. Nickelson works with Santhuff to strengthen those areas. She met and befriended Santhuff's mother, Cassie Santhuff, through a young parents group at First Christian Church in Fulton, and now volunteers her time to give Sam Santhuff physical therapy.
