College For Kids cools off on hot day in Fulton

The 25th annual College for Kids is in full swing at William Woods University. This week, about 100 high-IQ fifth and sixth graders in the top 5 percent of their classes are flooding the campus for a series of fun and educational programs designed to help them learn, develop creativity and reach their full potential. Of course, not everything is strictly educational: College for Kids returned to the Westminster Avenue Fulton Fire Station for its annual ice cream fight and subsequent hose down. Fulton resident Sue Craghead, Director of College for Kids, said she thanked the fire department for their help in providing another fun activity for the students.
