Thorpe’s mother, Sara Berry of Fulton, said Thursday was the first time her daughter was out to play “in a while.” The high for Fulton on Thursday was 44 degrees. The National Weather Service predicts the highs for Friday and Saturday to be 48 and 52 degrees, respectively, and the temperature will dip to 22 degrees on Sunday.

Temperature spike begins thaw in Fulton
