Wiley House, Fulton's emergency overnight shelter for homeless adults, has staved off having to close its doors. Originally slated to shut down Oct. 8 due to a lack of funds, shelter director Brad Sheppard said Wiley House would remain open due to certain paid staff members agreeing to work as volunteers.
