Fulton residents interested in supporting a building fund to construct a new Fulton animal shelter can buy $1 raffle tickets to win a donated painting by Fulton artist Wayne Legge. The raffle winner can choose either a print of downtown Fulton during Christmas or an original commissioned painting of his or her home by Legge.

The Callaway Betterment Foundation’s building fund for construction of a new animal shelter in Fulton has reached $156,000, or about 63 percent of its $250,000 goal, according to Fulton Mayor LeRoy Benton.
