This machine gun, modified to be semi-automatic, was stolen from a hunting cabin in eastern Callaway County. The Callaway County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information regarding the theft to call them at (573) 642-7291. Anonymous tips also can be made to Callaway County Crime Stoppers at (573) 592-2474.

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary in the eastern part of the county Saturday afternoon that included the theft of two distinctive items: A machine gun reconfigured to be semi-automatic and a mounted Red Stag head.
