Carl Sundermeyer, of Holts Summit, and Betty Rountree, of Auxvasse, make their moves in a game of 10-Point Pitch with their spouses, Carolyn Sundermeyer and J.C. Rountree (not pictured) Thursday afternoon at Loafer’s Week in Auxvasse. “We’ve been doing it I don’t know how many years,” Betty Rountree said. “This has been going on for a long time, and we always like to come out on the day they serve turkey.” Thursday’s meal of turkey and all the trimmings was prepared by the Auxvasse Community Hall Association.
