Work planned on animal shelter with project over half funded

Pledges, donations and successful fundraising campaigns have earned the City of Fulton close to 65 percent of their $250,000 goal to build a new animal shelter, and if all goes according to plan, preliminary work on the building could begin as early as next spring.
