A racer leaves the starting line at 9 a.m. Saturday at the start of day-long time trials as racers compete against the clock for the 2012 Missouri State Bicycle Championship. With the Missouri Capitol and the Jefferson City skyline in the background, the time trials were held in Callaway County on a relatively flat 12.5 mile course along Missouri 94 near the Missouri River.
