A number of area churches and service organizations have gathered donations of school supplies over the past several months — including more than 4,000 notebooks collected by Central Christian Church.

Ready for Back to School
Backpacks are stacked on a table at Callaway Christian Church Thursday afternoon, waiting to be filled by area children on Saturday as part of SERVE Inc.’s Back to School Supplies and Services Fair. To be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, located at 2051 Silver Dr. in Fulton, the event includes free school supplies, health screenings, haircuts, lunch and information on a variety of community resources.
