The Callaway and Audrain county sheriff’s offices recovered a large amount of stolen property while serving a search warrant in the Kingdom City area Wednesday, including a number of guns. Callaway County Sheriff Dennis Crane said the stolen property recovered Wednesday, as well as items recovered at another location in Auxvasse Tuesday, are “just the beginning” of the investigation into an area burglary ring.

KINGDOM CITY — More stolen property was recovered in connection with a string of home burglaries in Callaway and Audrain counties as a second warrant was served near Kingdom City Wednesday.
