Cody Powers, senior at Westminster College, sets up flags at Latshaw Plaza Friday at the college. The College Republicans put up a flag for each victim of the 9/11 attacks, totaling 2,740 flags.

Though it has been 10 years since the events on 9/11 shook the country, several events took place around Callaway that showed the community’s patriotic spirit remains.
