Fulton Mayor LeRoy Benton reads a city proclamation during a rededication ceremony Friday of the old Liberty Bridge plaque erected just after World War I. At right is David Beaver, commander of Fulton American Legion Post 210. The plaque was moved to nearby Memorial Park after the old bridge was demolished to make way for the new Business 54 roundabout over Stinson Creek.

About 75 Callaway County residents attended a rededication ceremony in Memorial Park Friday of a plaque erected on the former Liberty Bridge in Fulton to honor World War I veterans.
